All work and no play... Alright, that's a damn lie and everyone knows it :). But speaking of work, I got a promotion already, and I've only been there for 4 months. Get to do a lot of behind the scene stuff, scoring associates performance, coaching associates and get to do some training classes. Not a lot of pay difference since I won't be making commission anymore, but base pay is higher so pretty much evens outs. But it's a step up in a pretty large company. Want to give a shout out to Loki who I ran into at The Bar. Haven't seen him in years and looks like everything is going good for him, glad to see that. Josh's car computer is fully operational! Mame's and all! Street Fighter II on US 41 ftw! Adams is almost complete, just needs the games rolling on his. NEWLARP weekend event is just around the corner. I gotta split time between that and house warming party for my good friends Chris and Nicole. Should be able to attend both... as long as I resist the keg stands.... hehe. For anyone who pays attention to fantasy football, I'll post my teams from both of the leagues I'm in this year. First team is a 10 man league and the players are pretty competitive, second team is an 8 man league who I actually only know one person in it. But the second one seems like it might be a bit more relaxed. Anywho.. the teams are: League 1 QB Marc Bulger QB Chad Pennington RB LaDainin Tomlinson RB Curtis Martin RB Marshall Faulk RB Derrick Blaylock RB Najeh Davenport RB Larry Johnson RB Frank Gore WR Torry Holt WR Nate Burleson WR David Givens WR Santana Moss TE Alge Crumpler PK David Akers DEF Pittsburgh Team 2 QB Tom Brady QB Jake Delhomme RB Shaun Alexander RB Tiki Barber RB Ahman Green RB Thomas Jones RB Chris Brown WR Marvin Harrison WR Nate Burleson WR Issac Bruce WR Rod Smith WR Ashley Lelie TE Jason Witten K Jeff Reed DEF Pittsburgh As My Chemical Romance would say, "So long and good night!"

Guns don't kill people, I.. err..uhh... guns do kill people. What's new in the neighborhood kids? The sun is shining bright, it's not deadly humid today and tomorrow it's back to work! Ewww... scratch that last part :) Been awhile since I visited my little online-chat-thingy-bobber-whatchcallit. Oh yeah, BLOG. Yeah, i'm feeling a little weird today, but that's nothing new. What's new.... hmmm...... Well, I am about ready to kill my cats. With the air-con currently out of comish, they are shedding like polar bears in the desert. I could vacum daily and there would still be tufts of hair here and there. Of course, I am a straight(read: lazy) guy, so I do not vacum daily. But atleast I guess it's not as bad as someone's house with the poor doggies shedding everywhere. Newlarp and Fvbn are both still going. I might have some new armor this week just in time for the next Newlarp event this coming weekend. Actually all I care about is the rewrite we are getting next month. I have finally gotten to do some cool stuff with my characters crafting skills in the past couple months. But I have had half of my characters levels sunk into said skills for SIX years. Meanwhile I watch all of the streamlined characters surpass me, do cool stuff and get rewarded for it. Should I twink out... should I play something fun... should I go good... should I go evil... Many decisions to make in regards to that. Also have to take into consideration what other people may or may not change to. *shrug* We'll see how it all rolls after next month. Fvbn has been fun. I get to wear the mini-daddy pants. While it's fun to have status and have people come to you with whatever problems, questions, etc... I wonder how long this power situation will last. I know there is one change coming up that my character will not be happy about. With that, I will have to decide how he would react to the situation. Got a few months before I have to worry about that. Work has been going pretty good. Apparently there was people who were calling in with fake business accounts and ordering litterally hundreds and hundreds of lines of service and phones. These people had federal tax-ids and everything. One of the guys at work would have made nearly $18,000 in commission in one month if it would have been a legit order. Needless to say that guy was a little pissed when he got the bad news. But besides that, I'm still trucking away at my job, getting a little more done each day. For those of you who follow football and more so fantasy football, I have the #1 pick this year in my league. This will be the third year in a row that I have LaDainin Tomlinson as my first round pick. Now the big question is, who do I take for my 2nd and 3rd picks. Gonna defintly be intresting to see which big players will still be around by time the pick comes back to me. Well, since i'm finally home for awhile today, I think i'm gonna veg out for a bit. Want to get some decent sleep for work tomorrow, been out late last three nights in a row. Later. |
