A posting to the tune of Dennis Leary's "Asshole"

Once again, for helping out a friend, I got to be "the bad guy". I believe in helping others out, but there has to be a balance, so that you maintain your own happiness also. But, enough of that.

Hmm.. what has all been going on latey... I went to Great America again. This time the ladyfriend and I took some of her neices and nephews. The kids all seemed to have a good time, even if they were a little intimidated by some of the larger rides. Between free tickets from work, one person having a season pass and a buy one get one free offer, we ended up paying for about 1 1/2 tickets for 8 people.

FVbN has come and gone, and the next event is this weekend. Last event I had to leave early as I had prior plans for later in the evening. Of course the one time I leave early, some major stuff went down, which is possibly for the better for my character survival :). This event should be a good one as usual, and I'll make sure to stick around til the bitter end.

TBCS is fastly approaching and i'm fairly pumped about that. Finally I have off both Sat and Sun without having to use vacation or trade a shift. Also I will have my fancy new 21" monitor for gaming madness til the wee hours in the morning. On the bad side, my ladyfriend's Dad's b-day party is that weekend. He's turning 70(yeah, she was a suprise baby) so they are throwing a big party for him. Hopefully I can get out of going to most of it and get back to what's really important, gaming :P.

Work is once again a mofo. Got a new Supervisor and Lead, and the sup is known to be rather strict about pretty much everything. But on the flip side, I'm activelyl looking for a new job. It's just so hard to leave this place with the awesome benefits we get, but.... overall job satisfaction is becoming more important.

Hmm.. i'll hold the reigns there and get back to taking some calls. Lata.
