The oh shit handles are located to the left!

Just got home from getting the shit scared out of me at Splatter Haus, eek! I haven't been to a haunted house anywhere near as cool as this one ever. The sheer size of the place is amazing, along with the extremely detailed costuming and sound effects. I won't ruin the suprises for those that may be going to it for the first time, but I will say it was the best $10 I have spent in awhile.

I'm pretty sure your suppose to get an extra hour of sleep on daylight saving time. That is unless of course your out at the bars, extra hour that your gonna regret the next day at work :( Also on saturday, went out to Nakashima's of Japan with some of the crew, yum yum yummy yum.

Work can be such a bitch sometimes, and yet turn around and kick ass, grr.. one way or the other. Anywho, went out and spent $200 of my $300 in gift cards I got for Kaybee toys from work, and this should be here in about a week. I can't complain about that as it was basically free, all I had to do was be at work at the right time of the year :). I'm going to veg out on some games and then get some much needed sleep, you should do the same!

P.S. Why do people who are your friends force bad situations to happen that shouldn't? And now when the time to stop being nice comes around, I will of course be the asshole. Sigh.

Where does the time go?

Warning, this message has been edited for your sanity!

Open mic, old friends, Ozzy tribute band, $2 pints of Capt'n'Coke and careing about nothing. Good times.

P.S.Mad props to Pat for showing me how to add a pic to my site. Yes I refuse to learn how to do anything for myself.

So tired....

I'm sure I have used that title before, but it sure fits now. Just a few scant hours of sleep on Friday followed up by just a few more hours on Saturday, combined with NEWLARP, boozing and work = one tired mofo.

Last event for NEWLARP this season was a pretty good time. I guess I am in the middle on how I feel about the game. On the negative side there has been a decline in morale from the players, but hopefully that is something that can be turned around. Also the fact that I really don't care for my character doesn't help either. But I am not gonna make a new character as mine is already behind almost everyone else's already. On the positive, I do really enjoy the concept of the game, and who can argue with getting to run around and beat on your friends with fake weapons all day?

Afterwards some of us met up at B & H for Cohiba's little party, thanks again, great time was had by all. Stayed there for most of the night except for a short run to the Rail, and then finished the night up at the Frat House. Poor Tom and Karl got hustled in some fooz for drinks, lol :) I went back to my old standard of pool and managed to hold the table for more than a few games.

Tonight after work I ventured up to the Regal to catch Kill Bill with a few of the peeps. Awesome movie, two thumbs up! Kind of a weird mix of action, gore, animation, music and swords. It was all thrown together wonderfully by the man Q.T.

FVbN is this weekend and I got a few suprises up my sleeve :) Should make the game alot more intresting for myself than the last couple of events. But I can't let the cat out of the bag for everyone now..... On that night, i'm gonna go try that sleep thing I hear so much about. G'night!

Happiness comes in small doses.

A little snippet from Dennis Leary, and he couldn't be any more correct with those words. But of course everyone has their own opinion of what happiness is to themselves. Do you think your life is half full, or half empty? Are you only concerned with the here and now? Or do you prefer to wait your time, for what could be in the future? Hmm... just some ramblings I guess. I think I may have had a moment of clarity in my drunken stupor last night, and it seems to be partially stuck with me.

A blast from the past. Went down to the Frat House with some of the crew on Wednesday night, and no sooner had I stopped at the bar to grab a drink, 3 friends of mine who I haven't seen in anywhere between 2-8 years walk in. People who I was very good friends with when I was younger, it is amazing how quickly people disappear with time. I instantly felt like I was 17 again, driving around in my old '78 Buick, going to Skate World, working at Randall's and hanging out with Wayne. Also to top it off, 50 cent Foozball and $2 pitchers of beer, makes for a good time.

Friday night was a blast, as we had the Neenah crew in town for some Oshkosh partying. Drinking, dancing, eating and almost some ass whooping, but I think Kelly's fight partner got cold feet and bailed on him. I was making good use of the bar for my own personal dance floor til the third bartender to walk by finally kicked me off. Saturday won a couple card tournaments and had a mini outing with Karl, Kevin and myself. Oh and Andy who got to visit the pad for awhile too.

Ugh, started this little post over an hour ago, but burning cd's and yapping online makes for a late night. Work is gonna be rough enough without lacking sleep.

G'night.

P.S. Almost forgot, I added another person to the links'o'rama to the right. It's funny how little you know about someone til you have a chance to read what they have to say, and see the family that they have. Oh, and if you need any help laying the smack down on your daughters teacher, gimme a holla, i've got connections, lol. :)
