Friends.

I have been blessed to have many friends in my life. Some are new, some are old. Some are good, some are bad. Some are honest, some are liars. Some are sane, some are insane. Some are male, some are female. Some are upfront, some are two-faced. Some are fun, some are dull. Some are smart, some are dumb. Etc... But no matter which of many categories a friend of mine falls into, I have always tried to be the best friend to them that I can be.

Oh, one last thing. When you tell a friend, "Sure, I trust you." And your friend replies, "I wouldn't trust me, I'm scum." You probably should have believed them.

Revenge of the Sickness

Well, i've been feeling a little out of it on and off for the past week. Finally last night as I was leaving work I could tell I was physically drained and possibly running a temperature. I didn't really know what to do since my insurance from my new job hasn't kicked in yet, but then someone mentioned the free clinic. It seems there are doctors there at different hours of the day each day, and luckily on Thursdays they are there after 5:30pm. After doing some checking and whatever doctors do, turns out I have a throat infection and was running a 100 degree temperature. Also, since I'm allergic to peniscillian and asprin, I can't take whatever normal antibiotics they would give me. Luckily the clinic has exactly the stuff I did need to take and they gave that to me for free as well. Finally get home last night, drinking lots of fluids, taking the horse pills they gave me and slept for almost 12 hours.

Stayed home from work today, feeling better but not 100%. Gonna just chill and keep drinking lots of water.

Other stuff.... Wedding was awesome. The food at the reception was actually really good. Normally the food at something that big is so-so, with so many people there, so that was a nice suprise. Got to catch up with alot of old friends and co-workers from my old job. Drank way too much and still managed to not make an ass of myself.

Went and saw SW Ep III RoTS twice so far, i'll probably be done til it comes out on dvd. I loved it, only a few minor gripes, like some of the dialogue. It just didn't seem to flow, and it seemed very forced at times. Also I was kind of hoping to see some more action after he gets fixed up and is in the full Darth Vader costume. Besides that the action was great, lots of special effects and they defintly did a good job on setting a very dark mood over the whole movie.

Newlarp and FVbN were both good times, looking forward to the next events.
