Blue skies, warm weather.  Where are you?

Rainy and cold, or overcast and muggy.  That seems to be the theme this year.  Maybe if we're lucky we'll squeeze out a few decent days before it starts to get cold again.

Next Friday my crazy brother is getting married.  Turned 18 on June 13th, getting married on July 30th.  Pure craziness.  Hopefully the weather will hold to atleast not rainy, as he's getting married in a park.  I truely wish him the best on his marriage, the crazy kids seem to be genuinely in love.  Maybe they'll be even crazier and pop out a kid or two so my dad can leave me alone about not having any children of my own yet.  This Saturday is gonna be one busy busy day.  I haven't been to NEWLARP for the past 3 events, so I defintly want to make it there for atleast part of the day.  After that I'm taking my brother and dad out for dinner and to shoot some pool as a mini bachelor party.  Finally after that i'm meeting up my the woman and her friends who are hitting up some bars in town after a birthday party for one of the gals.

Maybe i'm just being overly picky, but with all my new computer upgrades, I don't feel that i'm getting nearly the performance out of my computer that I thought I would be.  Maybe the graphics card I got was junk.  *shrug*  Maybe i'll bug one of my more computer savy friends for a few ideas of what to look for if there are problems.  One thing I will say, I didn't know what I was missing before I got the 21" monitor!  Now I just have to make sure it doesn't break my computer desk in half  :)

Burning up just about all my vacation time next week and the week after.  My brother's wedding is gonna use up atleast a day's worth if not more, and then my buddy Matt is visiting from Vegas, so I'm taking another day or two for that.  Wouldn't be so bad, but with the new 10 hour days, that means 10 hours instead of 8 for vacation and sick days.  Your accured time can go pretty quick!

Other than that, it's all about work and slacking when not working.  Lata.
