Welcome to blah.org.

That’s how I’m feeling at work today. Ok, scratch that, just deleted a 3 paragraph posting on the crap that goes on with cable, dish and dsl. I’m sure it would have amused just about nooone. Over two months into the 10 hour days and still haven’t decided if I like it better than 8 hour days. I don’t mind working a job for whatever hours, I do mind however when it’s a longer shift at a mind numbing job like this. Just randomly won some tickets to the Milwaukee Mile this weekend. Pretty sweet seats to boot. Too bad I’m not much for the Nascar, maybe I’ll find a nice home for the tickets. Actually been rocking at work saving customers, getting some decent commissions on it, so not all is bad at the land of work.

NEWLARP is this weekend, and I’m considering skipping out to spend the day with the lady friend. I do enjoy the whole LARP’ing thing, but it doesn’t seem to be holding quite the same appeal it used to for me. Maybe I’ll just show up and hand out my character’s treasures to people who were actually decent to my character in the game. I think playing the character I have played has had more than a bit to do with my lack of intrest in the game, but starting a new low level character would be a waste of time in this game. *Shrug*

Had my first bad experience at the TW the other night. Food took forever, cornbread was hard instead of soft and moist, she got chicken on her salad instead of shrimp, etc.. etc.. It just wasn’t a good experience. I still highly recommend the place, I guess my run of good experiences there needed a bump.

Should be getting a decent 21” monitor from BoogieQ. Hopefully that’ll tide me over on my computer and I can stop buying stuff for it. Over the last couple of months I have slowly bought new parts here and there, basically a whole new system by time I’m done. New mobo and AMD 2500xp + Barton processor, 1 gig 3200 DDR ram, Radeon 9600 256MB, SB Audigy, new intellimouse explorer, new mouse pad and newer keyboard. Of course this is all rockin’ in the Bawls case still :)

Anywho, it’s been a long boring day at work, and I’m getting ready to bail. Take care and stay out of trouble, well.. atleast too much trouble..

Is anyone not getting married??

Yeah, I've probably only been to a handful of weddings in my life, or atleast in the last 10 years or so. Yet I'm attending atleast 5 weddings this spring/summer/fall so far, and standing in two. Ah well, the couple so far have been pretty fun, and I volunteer'd to record one of them, which turned out pretty good.

TBCS was this past weekend, and was an ok time. The main game I wanted to play was BFV, but with technical problems with the game, and lack of intrest, that didn't happen. I did try out an awesome mod for UT2K4 called Alien Swarm I think. It's a top down shooter, but pretty fun even if it is hella difficult. I took an afternoon break from the shoot to take the ladyfriend out for dinner to Mongos in Appleton. I must say, the atmosphere was pretty cool, but... for how much the place had been built up by friends, I honestly wasn't that impressed with the food. It was ok, but nothing really special. Maybe I hit it on an off day, or I wasn't really into the place, but I guess i'm sure i'll give it another chance.

I finally got myself another car after the 'mishap' with my last one. I got myself a 1999 Chrysler Sebring LXI with all the toys. All the power options seem to work fine, windows, locks, remote lock, infinity sound system, sunroof and cruise. It's a white car with pretty snazzy looking white rims, greyish/blue interior with leather seats and woodgrain console in the middle. I got a pretty good deal on the price, and miles seem ok for the year. Of course, the gf refuses to touch the car after the last incident :) I told her it's just a car, it's replaceable, but she's still too upset to drive the new one.

I've actually gone and seen some new movies lately, Troy, Shrek 2 and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. All of them were pretty good, I thought Troy was awesome.

Other then that, my life has pretty much been work, gf and sneaking in some game time here and there. Aidos.
