What's new?

Hmm.. my lovely new gf got into an accident. She's ok, just a little shook up. Car looks to be totaled. Of course, it was my new car she was driving, ugh :) Insurance guy doesn't sound like a total jerk, and I have extra protection on my loan to pay for anything they don't, so all should be good. Hopefully this will go quick, so I can get myself back into some wheels. I really did like my new car, alot. I'm just afraid that i'm not gonna find as nice of a car for the price I was getting it for. If anyone has leads on a good deal, gimme a holla.

Other than that, adjusting to the 4 day work week. It's nice on the days off, 3 a week, but 10 hours of listening to people yap on the phone, not sure if it's worth it yet. We'll see.

Hopefully I will get to go clean out my car tonight if someone's at the shop. Think that's all i got, pretty much mind drained after the car stuff yesterday, and finishing up my shift at work today. Later.

Hey look... it's another day.

Well, b-day has come and gone, and I don't feel any older. I guess that's a good thing. I had one of my best birthdays ever, twice in one week. I got dinner and a movie on my actual b-day, my choice on both! Plus, I got tons of presents! Granted.. it was almost all clothes, but damn, it was alot of clothes, and some very nice stuff to boot. I think the on-going comment of the night from me was, "You didn't pay this much did you?!?!" It's pretty amazing how nice of stuff you can get and still find it on sale and/or clearance. Friday night was a combined celebration of my buddy Chris's b-day and mine as they fall within 3 days of each other. We ate at a great dinner club called Jim and Linda's. I may not be the smallest guy, but I sure wasn't able to finish half of my prime rib, most of the pre-main course meal stuff finished me off. The drinks at the bar before dinner didn't help much I think either, but oh well. Afterwards it was bar hopping time, plenty of booze, dancing and everything else to make it a kick ass night.

Most of my weekends have been pretty busy lately, between going to weddings, NEWLARP started back up, and finally FVbN back on course. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the next NEWLARP event, someone's b-day celbration is that day, and that'll tie me up for the entire day.

Trying to upgrade my PC a little here and there. Recently got a Radeon 9600 256MB video card and a 160GB Western Digital HD. I'll be ordering a new Motherboard, Processor and case soon, and probably a newer but used sound card. With bills piling up, can't just go splurge on a whole new machine in one moth like I would love to do. I should have everything before the next TBCS, but we'll see. I seemed to have slowly weened myself away from buying tons of dvds, but now i've replaced it with games and pc upgrades.. ugh, such a kid still. Gonna take a break here at work, adios.
