As the World Turns...

A year older that is. I hope everyones Christmas was a joyous time! Spent the first half of the day with family, then later with friends. Spending time with the family was nice as I never really see them except for the holidays, but of course it was nice also when I left the full house that is my family's home :) Later Christmas night I went to watch ROTK again with some friends, this time on the ultra screen. The movie was/is awesome, but not nearly as cool as Barren dropping his full soda as he was sitting down :)

Work seems to take up too much of my time, perhaps I should go buy a winning lotto ticket so I can enjoy the finer things in life without work taking up my time. Other than work been playing some FF:XI, finished up Soprano's season 4 and spending more time with friends, local and otherwise. I'm deciding if I am going to be able to continue playing FF:XI or not. I really like the game, and like the fact that so many people I know are playing it, but an online game like that seems to just suck time away like nothing. I don't want to start neglecting other things in my life like I did before playing games like that. I'll have to see how the next week or so goes and decide from there.

The last FVbN event was very intresting to say the least. I thought some of the fruity stuff that the storytellers came up with and did was pretty cool, and I got to play my old dead character! Playing Andy was a nice change from my latest characters, but I would be lieing if I said it was all a good time. I guess I don't understand how normally everything is cool and fine, and then certain things bring up memories and feelings of the past. Acting out my old character certainly did that. Between working 'go nowhere' jobs and being in a crumbling relationship one would think I would have been a very unhappy person at that time, but ironicly I think that I was pretty happy at that time. Of course, true happiness is a different thing I guess.

Anyways, enough of my moopey ramblings, it's time to P A R T Y! New Year's Eve! Time to celebrate the coming of the new year, to look forward to what could be! It'll be a good night of dropping off my car and not going back to it til the next morning :) Then this Friday, a buddy from work is turning 21, so it's gonna be 'get way too hammered for your own good' round two.

Hmm... I think that's all I really wanted to post, well actually more than I want to *shrug*. Good night to all, and Happy New Year!

I'm just like the rest of them...

Lacking in updates that is. It's not that I have been so utterly busy that I simply can't update, but I guess the motive just isn't there. Most of the things I would love to yap about, and talk on and on and on about... I just don't feel the need to share with everyone who may or may not read this. I guess that is a pretty humorous statement, considering some of the personal things I have said on here, but times change and people change.

So it's about that time of the year again. Spirits high for some, and low for others. A time of gatherings of love and friendship, yet a time of lonelyness and pain for some. Alas, it is a time that everyone has to choose for themselves, each and every year. Hmm.. late night ramblings.

I don't think I have taken as much joy in buying gifts for others as I have this year. Normally for my family I would just grab whatever, something that each person may want. But never really putting thought into the gifts. Not this year. I think Christmas will be a little more special this year. I even got cards to send out to some of my family and friends... scary!

Well, I think I will end this and attempt to get some sleep(read: go play some FF XI). Goodnight!
