Right-o.

Spent most of my time lately being sick, fun. There's this nasty bug going around where you start out feeling like a bad cold, then the flu, then back to the bad cold. It would be so bad, but this is freaking day 6 and I'm still coughing up a lung! Talked to several people at work, and sounds like they have either had it, got it now, or are now going to get it because everyone else has :)

What else is going on.... FVbN is never going to have another event! :) Ben is finally able to put solid dates down, but now the crowds are shooting them down as fast as he puts them up. Also the other problem, the need for a permanent home for the game. The idea is to have several rooms for people to do shit in, yet also have one or two large rooms. Most places I think of off hand would only have a large room, or multiple small rooms, and neither of those situations is gonna work. I will just have to hold my desires of killing everyone at bay for a bit longer.

Kahlora and I went to Razz ma Tazz for Valentines dinner, and I have to say.... it sucked. The food quality was decent, but far from anything special. I just deleted a big paragraph I wrote about our waitress, so I'll skip the rest. Needless to say, way overpriced, and not much to justify it.

The Fond du Lac Vamp Larp starts this Saturday. Should be intresting to see how the game starts out. I have a bit of insider info, and sounds like there is defintly gonna be some plot placed things in the game that should start it off with a bang. There's gonna be more than a few clans that will be directly affected by big events, and that'll lead to alot of political and maybe deadly backstabbing :)

Well, I must be on my way, and go into that evil that is known as work. Aidos.

Update?

Haven't really had the urge or ambition to update lately. I would aplogize if I felt it apropriate, but I don't :) Anything new happening, hmm.. lets see.

TBCS was this past weekend and it was a good time. Played a good share of BF1942, Age of Mythology and for some weird reason we had a ongoing Diablo II game also. I upped the MP3's to around 1400ish, but I will of course probably delete half of them. Went to Durango's with Kahlora, Barren and Zeb on Saturday, and it still amazes me the quality, quanity and price of their food. If you have not tried them, I highly suggest it, even for the Vegans.

New work schedule, which is good and bad. Good because now 3 days a week Kahlora and I work the same time, so we can carpool as opposed to both of us driving from the same place to the same place with a 2 hour difference like before. Of course the bad of that, is already mentioned :)

There is a new Vampire LARP starting up in Fond du Lac, and I'm hoping it's going to be fun. It's run at the home of two people I work with. They both seem to be pretty experienced rp'ers, and have played MET for a long time. They have a kick ass way of deciding your Gen, you draw it from a hat! If anyone who reads this is intrested in information on the game, shoot me a message on fvbn board, or email me dusto@new.rr.com. I think the first game is Feb. 22nd starting at 7pm.

I borrowed Baldur's Gate:Dark Alliance from Kahlora's brother, and proceeded to beat it in alot less time that I was hoping for. It's your basic run around and beat the shit out of everything game. I was told it's easy when you play the Dwarven Fighter, but I didn't think it would be that easy. On normal mode, I literally just walked through the game, hacking and slashing, downing the occasional healing potion when needed. At the end of the game, you find a one-hand sword that does easily twice the damage of any two handed weapon I found in the game, using it I beat the main boss down easier than any of the previous bosses. At the end of the game, they end it with an obvious "the story has just begun" kinda thing, but I have yet to see a sequal for it, and it's been out a long time. Oh well, back to pounding my head against the wall trying to get further in Vice City.

Other then that, It's my day off, I got errands to run, later.
