Day "off".

Between CCG tournaments, FVbN, NEWLARP, TBCS, a little over-time at work, shopping, cleaning and any other various things that arise my one weekend day off just never seems to actually be 24 hours long!

Trying to actually keep this page updated more periodically, but I guess my life just isn't nearly as exciting as I would have imagined. Josh made a comment about the look of my website, but I certainly would rather have this n00b looking page then the black hole he has on the internet! :)

Is the next FVbN event really 5 weeks after the last?!? With the last one come and gone, I feel myself longing for some vampire action! My new character is suppose to stay out of the spotlight, unlike my last character, but of course I am already trying to get stuff going within the Independant clan board. With the previous Primogen stepping down, and the new one taking the spot, I wonder how much that was a members as a whole decision, or simply the old primogen handing the reigns over to the next person available. We'll see where this devlops, it could get messy, not for me of course!

NEWLARP, so far away, but looming closer each month that goes by. I'm very intrested to see how the new plot handles the game, and with that I am sure are good and bad changes. Certain member/members on the plot and/or rules commitee are of high concern, as they love to bend rules for themselves repeatedly, but will in turn use false rulings against others in the game. Once, maybe even twice I can understand, not everyone knows the rules that well. But when you insist on rules being a certain way when they are not repeatedly, it leaves thought to as why they have the positions they do. Meh, enough of my petiness, cept it is far from just myself.

Some hot lan action coming up soon, I can't wait! I haven't reinstalled BF1942 since I reformated my computer, as most of the people online I played with are about as lame as most of the Counter-Strike players out there. Which of course does not explain my daily playing of Counter-Strike :) I reinstalled Dungeon-Snooze for some insane reason, and after playing for an hour or so, I quickly remember'd why it earned it's nickname. Imagine Diablo II, if you only had maybe 2 skills per class, and all you could do was raise those skills! How boring is that! You can have melee 1, and then melee 99, and all you do is more damage! No special attacks, no ninja-flip-out-and-cut-the-monsters-head-off-super-360-backflip-sandal-flop-in-your-face attack, how blah.

Well, the last hours of my precious day off are quickly wearing away, so I must go kill something, adios!

Work, work and some more work.

Been busy working, and when not working killing people, so no posting has been getting done!

They say it all the time, but you never think about it. Just how easily someone you love can die, wether from an accident, illness or whatever. Kinda dawned on me when Katie goes, "Oh yeah, the doctors have lost two patients in the last 3 years from this surgery(sp?)." I repeat to her, "LOST?" It seems that with this procedure there's a very small chance of a blood clot forming post-op. Yeah, that's just what I want to hear to get me excited for this :(

I still get no love from the peeps, except for Pat, cause he's my bitch, yo. A shout out to Steve S., I hope you get better real fast man, you got alot of people loving you back in the Valley!

Christmas just around the corner, and of course that means spending every nickel and dime on the families. It's all good though, because when you hardly see your family anymore, it's always nice to see the smiles they have when you show up with a load of presents.

Enough rambling from me for now, gotta go shower and go outside for once today, considering it's 2 pm already :)

Correction, I forgot Branden linked me right away last Sunday. Kinda forgot since he hasn't updated in a week now. :)

Correction #2: I am apparently brain dead, Plinko hooked me up awhile ago.

What a great time!

That is how I sum up the Victorian Age one shot last night. I will be the first to admit that I had plenty of doubts of how the night would go, storyline, players, etc.. Any and all doubts were quickly erased very early in the evening! First off, everyone's costuming was great, lots of Derbies, suspenders, poofy dress and everything else that really added to the atmosphere. I don't know if people realized this, but the reason I wore the vest and the frilly lace was because it was part of representing my regression derangment. I should have worn the knickers, but I bailed on that last minute. All in all, the event was a huge success, and you suck for not showing up!

Stupid games, so addictive.

I am so easily amused, being the simpleton that I am. Put me in front of a stack of good movies, computer games, console games, board games, card games, dice & paper or live action role playing games and I'm in set! Now if I could just get rid of this annoying job, I'd be a complete waste of flesh, doing nothing but numbing my mind on electronic goodness. I decided a long time ago that I couldn't justify getting another console after my PSX, since I can play as good of games or better on my PC then most console games that come out. But of course, as time goes on, I see more and more intriging(sp?) titles coming out, for all console systems. Been tossing around the idea of possibly getting a Game Cube or a Playstation 2. Not getting an X-Box as I simply can not stand the controls, even though there are some beautiful games for it out.

The one shot for the Victorian Era is this weekend, I'm kinda excited, kinda not. On one hand, I do think it is cool to take a break from the old game, even better after starting a new character last month after playing the same character before for 2 years. My one shot character is a kooky guy, and should be alot of fun to play. On the other hand, I did just start my new character for the regular chronicle, and am a little anxious to see if other characters are actually going to interact with me, or will I become the new shunned person, watching silent movies for 8 hours.

Tonight is Survivor, yes, Survivor. The first season of the show I only watched maybe half an episode total, and didn't care for it much. Second season Katie talked me into watching it with her regularly, and since then I've been hooked. It's very intresting to see how everything is never as it seems, and sometimes the weak people are really the strongest in some situations. After Survivor, I need to get cracking on more Soprano's episodes before Ben beats me with a rolling pin. Fourth season of Soprano's out, and I saw my first episode this season, then borrowed the first season and began watching it from the begining. What an amazing show I've been missing!

Well, I have rambled on long enough I guess. Just didn't want to continue the trend of nonposting like most of my peeps over there to the left :)

First actual post title...

So yeah, thought I'd try out the whole title thing, seeing as that's the thing to do. Worky worky worky, sometimes it feels as if work is all life is about, and that's never a good feeling. A third of my job is helping customers with service issues, which is fine and all but you get that one call that starts like this. Me = "Hello and thank you blah blah blah." Customer = "Why isn't my stuff working! What did you do to my service?" Not "Hello Dustin, I've having trouble with blah, can you help me please?" Yes, just so everyone knows, I enjoy nightly excursions of cutting people's cable lines so they get no television or internet access, it's a wonderful hobby.

That last part was in jest of course.. :)

Added some links to more people, and a few groups and games I'm involved in. That's right, I linked the WRESTLING CARD GAME, if ya don't like it, meh.

Well, after some training from Kahlora, I have added some links to the peeps. Since that about sums up my knowledge of html, that's all your gonna get for a bit! :)

Yeah, posty posty, look at me go. Hmm.. ok let's see if this will actually work!
